Covid-19’s Pandemic Relationship to Saudi Arabia’s Weather Using Statistical Analysis and GIS

The eruption of the novel Covid-19 has changed socio-economic conditions world. escalating number infections and deaths seriously threatened human health when it became a pandemic from an epidemic. It developed into alarming situation World Health Organization (WHO) declared emergency in MARCH 2020. geographic settings weather are systematically linked to spread concentration population attributes remains vital study such as Covid-19. current work aims explore relationship population, (humidity temperature) with reported cases Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA). For study, data for was secured 11 March 2020, 21 July 2020 (132 days) 13 provinces KSA. Governorate level used estimate data. A Geographic information system (GIS) analysis utilised visualise relationship. results suggested that significant correlation existed between cases. conditions, KSA same period Spearman’s rank confirmed humidity significantly Makkah, Aseer, Najran, Al Baha provinces. temperature had relation Al-Riyad, Al-Madinah, Al-Baha. inconsistency highlighted variant behavior different regions More exploration is required beyond weather-related variables. Suggestions future research policy direction offered at end study.
