چکیده
Induction heating is used in many industrial applications to heat electrically conductive materials. The coupled electromagnetic-thermal induction process non-linear general, and for ferromagnetic materials it becomes challenging since both the electromagnetic thermal responses are non-linear. As a result of existing non-linearities, simulating task. In present work, transient finite element solution strategy that appropriate modeling presented. based on isothermal staggered split approach, where problem solved fixed temperature fields sources obtained from solution. implementation validated against experiments at three rates. computed temperatures, reach above Curie temperature, agree very well with experimental results.

Microwave heating processes involve electromagnetic and thermal effects coupled together through the local temperature dependence of the material dielectric properties. This paper presents a one-dimensional model for the coupled electromagnetic-thermal process and demonstrates its solutions for typical problems. The local temperature dependence of the lossy dielectric medium is taken into accou...
