ObjectivesUncontrolled hypertension is a common cause of cardiovascular disease, which the deadliest and costliest chronic disease in United States. Pharmacists are an accessible community healthcare resource equipped with clinical skills to improve management through medication therapy (MTM). Nevertheless, current reimbursement models do not incentivize pharmacists provide services. We aim investigate cost-effectiveness pharmacist-led comprehensive MTM clinic compared no for 10-year primary prevention stroke events patients hypertension.MethodsWe built semi-Markov model evaluate economic consequences clinic, from payer perspective.
