چکیده
The morphology-controlled synthesis of nanostructured photocatalysts by an environmentally friendly and low-cost method provides a feasible way to realize practical applications photocatalysts. Herein, Bi2WO6 (BWO) nanophotocatalysts with mulberry shape, sheet-like, round-cake morphologies have been successfully synthesized through highly facile solvothermal process simply adjusting the temperature or utilizing selective addition ethylene glycol as orientation agent without using strong acids bases and/or hazardous chemicals. ratio glacial acetic acid can affect morphology oxygen vacancy content BWO, thereby influencing photocatalytic performance. activity as-prepared samples was evaluated degradation rhodamine B (RhB) tetracycline under visible-light irradiation. results indicated that all BWO exhibited morphology-associated activity, sheet-like structure obtained via treatment at 120 °C 1:3 achieved maximum specific surface area possessed abundant vacancies, exhibiting outstanding for RhB tetracycline. rate reached 100% within 20 min. To best our knowledge, this value is one most remarkable values pristine Radical capture experiments demonstrated hydroxyl radicals (·OH) play major roles compared electrons (e−) holes (h+) in process. Recycling and reusing of catalyst is an important factor to produce capable and low cast catalysts. Silica coated magnetic nanoparticles (Fe3O4/SiO2) were synthesized via a simple sol-gel method with the aid of sonication. Fe3O4 nanoparticles. After that a layer of TiO2 was constricted by hydrolyze and condensation of Teteranormalbuthyltitanate to produce Fe3O4/SiO2/TiO2 nanocompsite. As-synthe...
متن کاملEffect of WO3 Nanoparticles on Congo Red and Rhodamine B Photo Degradation
Tungsten trioxide nanoparticles with two different sizes (average particle sizes about 50 and 80 nm) were prepared by the spray pyrolysis method. Photo degradation of Congo Red (azo dye) showed that photo catalytic property of the as-prepared WO3 nanoparticles with average size about 80 nm is higher than the sample with average size about 50 nm. Photo degradation of Rhodamine B (...

An efficient and cost effective protocol for in vitro propagation of Pineapple (Ananas comosus var. Queen) has been developed. In the proliferation stage, agar based Murashige and Skoog (MS) media was supplemented with 3.0 mg/l benzyleaminopurine (BAP), 0.5 mg/l indole acetic acid (IAA) and 50 mg/l adenine sulphate as RBC design experiment. Two approaches were taken to reduce the chemical cost ...

Efficient Photocatalytic Degradation of Rhodamine B Dye by Aligned Arrays of Self-Assembled Hydrogen Titanate Nanotubes
We show that an aligned array of hydrothermally grown, multiwalled hydrogen titanate (H 2 Ti 3 O 7 ) nanotubes—anchored to both faces of a metallic Ti foil—acts as an efficient photocatalyst. We studied the degradation of rhodamine B dye in the presence of the nanostructured photocatalyst under UV irradiation, by monitoring the optical absorption of the dye. Rhodamine B was chosen as a represen...
