چکیده

Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) –induced liver damage may be treated with chitosan oligosaccharide (COS), a small-molecular–weight excellent bioactivity and antioxidant potential. Hepatotoxicity induced by AFB1 single acute exposure (ASAE) has been theoretically established but the mechanism of toxicity in aquatic models less studied. In this paper, model injury Japanese medaka (Oryzias latipes) after ASAE for 72 h healing following COS intervention were developed. The different effects interventions analyzed at phenotypic genetic levels. results showed that reduced body weight hepatopancreatic somatic indices (HSI) medaka. Moreover, AFB1–induced histopathological oxidative stress concentration–dependent symptoms attenuated to some extent addition drug COS, effect high concentrations was almost identical silymarin (SIL). Using RNA–Seq technique, reduces number differentially expressed genes (DEGs) brought about AFB1. Among associated tumors, hepatocellular carcinoma hepatitis aurka, thbs1, serpine1, fabp7, dusp5 also validated Q-PCR corresponding trends. conclusion, can cause therapeutic effect, these impacted have potential become targets disease.

Diphenylmethyl selenocyanate attenuates malachite green induced oxidative injury through antioxidation & inhibition of DNA damage in mice

BACKGROUND & OBJECTIVES Malachite green (MG), an environmentally hazardous material, is used as a non permitted food colouring agent, especially in India. Selenium (Se) is an essential nutritional trace element required for animals and humans to guard against oxidative stress induced by xenobiotic compounds of diverse nature. In the present study, the role of the selenium compound diphenylmethy...

Pentoxifylline Attenuates Malathion-Induced Oxidative Damage in Rat

Introduction: Toxic effects of pesticides are commonly associated with reactive oxygen species damage and pentoxifylline a phosphodiesterase inhibitor is a drug well known for antioxidant properties. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the oxidative damages following a subacute exposure to malathion, an organophosphorus insecticide and pentoxifylline's ability to counteract these effect...

Crocin reduced acrylamide-induced neurotoxicity in Wistar rat through inhibition of oxidative stress

Objective(s):Acrylamide (ACR) has many applications in different industries. ACR damages the central and the peripheral nervous system in human and animals. Importance of ACR-induced neurotoxicity encouraged researchers to find both different mechanisms involved in ACR neurotoxicity and potent neuroprotective agents. Therefore, this study was designed to investigate the protective effect of cro...

CLIC1 Inhibition Attenuates Vascular Inflammation, Oxidative Stress, and Endothelial Injury

Endothelial dysfunction, which includes endothelial oxidative damage and vascular inflammation, is a key initiating step in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis (AS) and an independent risk factor for this disorder. Intracellular chloride channel 1 (CLIC1), a novel metamorphic protein, acts as a sensor of cell oxidation and is involved in inflammation. In this study, we hypothesize that CLIC1 pl...

Diosgenin attenuates cardiac oxidative stress in streptozotocin- induced diabetic rat

Background and Objective: Chronic diabetes mellitus (DM) leads to cardiovascular dysfunction. Diosgenin is a natural steroidal saponin with cardiovascular protective potential. In this research study, the beneficial effect of diosgenin was evaluated on some markers of oxidative stress in cardia tissue of streptozotocin (STZ)-diabetic rats. Materials and Methods: Male Wistar rats (n = 28) were ...
