چکیده
Background: COVID-19 is a highly infectious disease that necessitates simple and rapid methods for recognising severe patients. Aims: To correlate between chest lesions in CT, neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelets-lymphocytes patients with COVID-19, to detect their cut-off values as an early warning of Egyptian Subjects Methods: A cross-sectional study included 100 adult attending Ahmed Maher Teaching Hospital, Cairo, Egypt. Clinical, laboratory, radiological assessments were done. They classified according CT grades into three groups: seven normal 45 non-severe cases, 48 cases. Results: Dyspnoea was the most common symptom among cases (79.2%) fever (71.1%), while cough (85.7%) CT. The age, NLR, C-reactive protein (CRP), D-dimer significantly highest, absolute lymphocytes lowest. Highly significant positive correlations found D-dimer, CRP; correlation age; negative Using receiver operating characteristic analysis, areas under curve CRP, ferritin, platelet-lymphocyte 0.760, 0.698, 0.640, 0.627, 0.614, 0.595, respectively. optimal value NLR 2.50 0.74 specificity, 0.61 sensitivity, 67.5 accuracy. Conclusion: reliable easy-to-use predictor severity. (>2.5) should prompt prescription it could reveal essential influence further management.

The evaluation of neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio and platelet to lymphocyte ratio in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with and without ocular complications
Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis patients are evaluated during treatment for various inflammatory factors such as C-reactive protein, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate, and Disease Activity Score, and other immune system-related factors. In the follow-up of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, hematologic factors associated with the immune system especially Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio and Neutroph...

Background: The present study aimed to compare the complete blood count (CBC) indices between COVID-19 patients and the control group, and assess the relationship of these indices with COVID-19 prognosis given the role of complete blood counts in the COVID-19 prognosis. Methods: COVID-19 patients (confirmed by PCR or CT-Scan) who visited Imam Hospital in Sari were selected in this case-control...

متن کاملPredictive Value of Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio and Platelet Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Coronary Slow Flow.
BACKGROUND Increased microvascular resistance due to chronic inflammation is assumed to be one of the mechanisms associated with coronary slow flow (CSF). Previous studies have shown that the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) are markers of inflammation for various diseases. In this study we aimed to evaluate the relationship between CSF and PLR-NLR. ...
