Malicky (2018) synonymized Tinodes karpathos Oláh, 2015 described from the Karpathos Island, Greece with petaludes Malicky, 1974 Rhodes Island. On basis of re-examination T. holotype and compared it newly collected specimens synonymy two species is rejected reinstated here as a valid species, stat. restit.!
