Corporate Social Responsibility Promotes Organisation Citizenship and Pro-Environmental Behaviours: The Employee’s Perspective

Abstract Background : Organisations in the contemporary workplace lack meaningful work and life, resulting psychological physical pain for workers. Employees seek organisations that align their daily activities with society. Partially limited research exists on relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) employee work-related attitudes, especially mediating mechanism of meaningfulness (EWM) organisation identification (OID) developing country contexts such as Pakistan. This study has used Social Learning Theory (SLT) Identification (SIT). Methods Data were collected through a sample 154 employees two waves from multiple sectors Karachi, Pakistan, using non-probability, purposive sampling. The PLS-SEM, along IBM-SPSS, was run data analysis. Results results demonstrated Corporate significant positive attitudes. CSR affects organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) pro-environmental behaviours (PEB) mediation (OID). Conclusion contributes to nascent literature by establishing EWM OID mediate effect OCB PEB.
