چکیده
Corona virus disease -19(COVID-19) is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV2). Primarily it causes illness in humans. The pandemic ths started 2019in Wuhan , China. Later was declared as WHO. In this article I am reviewing the coronavirusalong with its microbilogical structure, transmission, pathogenesis, clinical features and management. The a singl stranded RNA virus. enters respiatory tract via mucous membrane ofmouth or nose. It binds to ACE TYPE receptor alveolar edema destruction leading todecrease gas exchange which further leads hypoxaemia finally distresssyndrome ( ARDS). most patients COVID19 presents mild symptoms they doesn’t require anymedical intervention. But patietnts presenting needs vigilant medical attention andmay ventilatory support. Most common are fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, nasal congestion. infection spreads droplet from an infected person. Infection virusmay lead inflammatory response release cytoines increased capillarypermeability vasodilatation hypotension decrease blood supplyto multiple organs organ failure. There increase chances morbidity mortalityamong elderly those comorbidities. eldrely chance fatality way more than youngpeople. No one drug has been found yet ultimate treatment COVID-19. Many drugs underclinical trial researches going on for vaccine well. untill we get definitive cure onlyescape have prevention only means do that practice social distancing proper handhygiene sanitation.
