Coordinated Slip Control of Multi-Axle Distributed Drive Vehicle Based on HLQR

For multi-axle distributed drive (MADD) vehicles, the complexity of longitudinal dynamics control system increases with number driven wheels, which presents a huge challenge to multi-motor vehicle more than four wheels. To reduce complexity, this paper proposes coordinated slip algorithm using hierarchical linear quadratic regulator (HLQR) scheme for 12 × MADD vehicle. The 12-wheel driving is decoupled based on wheel load and simplified double local subsystem. First, model established. Then, optimal ratio obtained basis road friction coefficient estimation through fuzzy when slips. Afterwards, controlled HLQR program anti-slip regulation. Furthermore, torque allocation programming (QR) control. Simulink results show that proposed can improve accuracy by 30% greatly calculation load. also limited ensure dynamic stability smoothly satisfy driver’s demand.
