چکیده
Purpose This paper aims to explore the existence of convergence in non-monetary working conditions Europe resorting widely used definitions this phenomenon and composite indexes job quality. Design/methodology/approach The analysis relies on indexes, previous literature, for 207 regions six different areas quality drawing microdata European Working Conditions Survey from 1995 2015. study assesses occurrence both terms dispersion outcomes (sigma-convergence) and, especially, regarding a catch-up process (beta-convergence). Findings finds evidence types convergences all domains, with exception skills discretion prospects dimensions according sigma-convergence approach. results do not suggest substantial differences between 15 Union countries before 2004 enlargement new Member States are robust wide range changes sample econometric specifications. Originality/value Tot he best authors’ knowledge, represents first rigorous systematic attempt addressing conditions, applying formal accepted phenomenon. It contributes our knowledge topic providing strong Those can be interest scholars Economics other Social Sciences.

Conditions for convergence and subsequential convergence
Let (un) be a sequence, regularly generated by another sequence (αn) where either (αn) or ( αn) = (αn − αn−1) is slowly oscillating. We investigate conditions under which the sequence (un) converges or converges subsequentially. c © 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Let (un) be a sequence of real numbers and let L be any (C,1) regular limitable method. We prove that, under some assumptions, if a sequence (un) or its generator sequence (V (0) n (Δu)) generated regularly by a sequence in a class of sequences is a subsequential convergence condition for L, then for any integer m ≥ 1, the mth repeated arithmetic means of (V (0) n (Δu)), (V (m) n (Δu)), generat...

Introduction Research in the manufacturing and retail sectors has demonstrated a link between human resource management (HRM) practices and productivity. Researchers have demonstrated that organizations that promote practices that encourage workers' abilities, motivation and opportunities achieve better outcomes. Within the health sector similar links have been proposed and used to explain vari...
