Controllable single-photon routing between two waveguides by two giant two-level atoms

We investigate the single-photon quantum routing composed of two infinite waveguides coupled to giant two-level atoms. The exact expressions transmission and reflection amplitudes are derived with real-space approach. It is found that single photon scattering behavior strongly dependent on phase difference between adjacent atom-waveguide coupling points, frequency detuning, strength atoms, interaction strengths atoms waveguides. Our studies show an ideal router unit efficiency can be realised by designing size atom, detuning or adjusting results suggest potential effectively control based giant-atom setup.
