Controllable Li <sub>3</sub> PS <sub>4</sub> –Li <sub>4</sub> SnS <sub>4</sub> solid electrolytes with affordable conductor and high conductivity for solid?state battery

High ionic conductivity, low grain boundary impedance, and stable electrochemical property have become the focus for all-solid-state lithium–sulfur batteries (ASSLSB). One of approaches is to promote rapid diffusion lithium ions by regulating chemical bond interactions within framework. The structure control P5+ substitution Sn4+ on lithium-ion transport was explored a series Li3PS4–Li4SnS4 glass–ceramic electrolytes. Results showed that impedance glass electrolyte reduced after heat treatments. formation LiSnPS microcrystals, good superionic conductor, detected X-ray diffraction tests. Electrochemical experiments obtained highest conductivity 29.5 S cm?1 at 100°C window from –0.1 5 V 25°C. In addition, cell battery assembled with prepared electrolyte, which promoted as candidate solid material improved performance ASSLSB.
