A facile method is reported to synthesize macroporous silica films embedding rhodamine 6G. The were obtained by sol-gel and spin-coating processes. Results pointed out a dependence of pore formation on the addition 6G in film composition. probable process pores was attributed aggregation charged species from Although randomly distributed surface, size tuned at certain extent controlling evaporation condensation rates early stages spin coating. indicated that rate determined distribution films.
