Control of Mutual Coupling in Microstrip Antenna Design Based on Bio-inspired Algorithms

چکیده

This paper presents a model that uses bio-inspired optimization algorithms to control of the mutual coupling (MC) in Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) systems. The method promotes an increase channel throughput and reduction distance among array elements, searching values less than half wavelength. A microstrip antenna design, at frequency 26 GHz, is used as prototype for MIMO system testing performance analysis. Genetic Algorithm (GA) optimize, determine physical parameters improve its performance. impedance concept MC. particle swarm (PSO) algorithm optimize reduce between elements. Simulation results show it possible obtain improvement 11.1% throughput, width reduced by 14.5% elements can be 23.7%, considering
