Control of Cascaded Multilevel Converter for Wave Energy Applications

چکیده

This paper proposes a control scheme for wave energy conversion system based on linear generator and cascaded multilevel converter. The mechanical is composed of buoy connected directly to generator. windings the are individually controlled by power converter using independent maximum point tracking improve harvesting. output keep DC capacitors balanced generate voltage at terminals which reduces losses in underwater transmission line. Experimental results show performance proposed maximizing generation imposing current with same waveform induced balancing capacitors.
