Control of amplitude homogeneity in coherent Ising machines with artificial Zeeman terms

چکیده
Abstract A coherent Ising machine (CIM) is an open-dissipative solver using optical pulses generated from a degenerate parametric oscillator as analog magnetizations. When solving real-world optimization problems with CIM, this has two difficulties: mutual coupling induced amplitude inhomogeneity and absence of natural way to implement Zeeman terms. For the approximate Gaussian formulation CIMs control feedback, we add artificial Zeemam terms target information. Here show, for 16-spin CIM terms, increases performance, particularly when are competing against coefficients.

Comparison of different TBI techniques in terms of dose homogeneity
Introduction: Total body irradiation (TBI) is a form of external beam radiotherapy which is used in conjunction with chemotherapy with the purpose of immunosuppression. Since the target in TBI is the whole body so a uniform dose distribution throughout the entire body during TBI is necessary. As recommended by AAPM dose variation must be within ±10% of prescription dose. A revi...
متن کاملPerformance evaluation of coherent Ising machines against classical neural networks
The coherent Isingmachine is expected tofind a near-optimal solution in various combinatorial optimization problems, which has been experimentally confirmedwith optical parametric oscillators and afield programmable gate array circuit. The similarmathematicalmodels were proposed three decades ago byHopfield et al in the context of classical neural networks. In this article, we compare the compu...
متن کاملCoherent single electron spin control in a slanting Zeeman field.
We consider a single electron in a 1D quantum dot with a static slanting Zeeman field. By combining the spin and orbital degrees of freedom of the electron, an effective quantum two-level (qubit) system is defined. This pseudospin can be coherently manipulated by the voltage applied to the gate electrodes, without the need for an external time-dependent magnetic field or spin-orbit coupling. Si...
متن کاملControl of Walking Machines With Artificial Reflexes
This paper describes the augmentation of our concept for the locomotion control of multi-legged walking machines. The concept is based on a neural control with artificial reflexes to react on sensor input. It is improved with the help of new sensorics as well as an internal ground map, build up with sensor information. Parts of the general concept together with the used sensorics are introduced...
