We report a passively Q-switched Ho:YVO4 laser pumped at 1.94 μm with multilayer graphene as a saturable absorber. Passively Q-switched ceramic Nd3+:YAG lasers with ceramic Cr4+:YAG saturable absorbers are demonstrated.
