Continuous-Variable Assisted Thermal Quantum Simulation

Simulation of a quantum many-body system at finite temperatures is crucially important but quite challenging. Here we present an experimentally feasible algorithm assisted with continuous-variable for simulating systems temperatures. Our has time complexity scaling polynomially the inverse temperature and desired accuracy. We demonstrate by phase diagram Kitaev model. It found that crossover ring can be accurately simulated computer only few qubits thus may readily implemented on current processors. further propose protocol implementable superconducting or trapped ion computers.
