چکیده
We develop the continuous matrix-product states approach for description of inhomogeneous one-dimensional quantum systems with long-range interactions. The method is applied to exactly solvable Calogero-Moser model. show high accuracy reproducing ground-state properties many-body system and discuss potential errors that can originate from approximation nonlocal interaction potentials singularities.

Hamiltonian and Brownian systems with long-range interactions: III. The BBGKY hierarchy for spatially inhomogeneous systems
We study the growth of correlations in systems with weak long-range interactions. Starting from the BBGKY hierarchy, we determine the evolution of the two-body correlation function by using an expansion of the solutions of the hierarchy in powers of 1/N in a proper thermodynamic limit N → +∞. These correlations are responsible for the “collisional” evolution of the system beyond the Vlasov regi...
متن کاملContinuous matrix product states for quantum fields.
We define matrix product states in the continuum limit, without any reference to an underlying lattice parameter. This allows us to extend the density matrix renormalization group and variational matrix product state formalism to quantum field theories and continuum models in 1 spatial dimension. We illustrate our procedure with the Lieb-Liniger model.
متن کاملNonequilibrium stationary states and equilibrium models with long range interactions
It was recently suggested by Blythe and Evans that a properly defined steady state normalization factor can be seen as a partition function of a fictitious statistical ensemble in which the transition rates of the stochastic process play the role of fugacities. In analogy with the Lee–Yang description of phase transition of equilibrium systems, they studied the zeros in the complex plane of the...

متن کاملQuasi-stationary states and incomplete violent relaxation in systems with long-range interactions
We discuss the nature of quasi-stationary states (QSS) with non-Boltzmannian distribution in systems with long-range interactions in relation with a process of incomplete violent relaxation based on the Vlasov equation. We discuss several attempts to characterize these QSS and explain why their prediction is difficult in general.
