چکیده
According to the moderate climate change scenario, direct impact of on irrigated crops, including cotton, wheat, apples, tomatoes, and potatoes, is pro-jected decrease yields by 1–13% 2050. However, demand for food expected increase overall due population growth poverty reduction goals. The rate in countries varies. highest decadal rates were recorded Uzbekistan at 0.29°C (1950-2005) Kazakhstan 0.26°C (1936-2005). Kyrgyzstan Tajikistan 0.08°C 0.10°C, respectively. In these upstream countries, area forests mountain ranges relatively large, possible negative climatic factors small. Thus, contemporary problems Central Asia context are related a growing scarcity water resources; uneven distribution resources across relation needs; low use efficiency (especially agriculture); high intensification economic processes. If additional resource-saving measures not taken, consequences region may include an increased risk shortages, droughts, other dangerous hydrome-teorological events that lead instability agricultural production threaten secu-rity; particularly shrinkage glaciers therewith one key sources freshwater. Overall, strategy action plans nationally region-wide urgently needed, both adaptation mitigation measures.

15 صفحه اولAquatic ecosystem responses to Holocene climate change and biome development in boreal, central Asia
Boreal ecosystems are highly vulnerable to climate change, and severe ecological impacts in the near future are virtually certain to occur. We undertook a multiproxy study on an alpine lake (ESM-1) at the modern tree-line in boreal, southern Siberia. Steppe and tundra biomes were extensive in eastern Sayan landscapes during the early Holocene. Boreal forest quickly expanded by 9.1 ka BP, and do...
