Consumer Flexibility Aggregation Using Partition Function Games With Non-Transferable Utility

This paper explores the aggregation of electricity consumers flexibility. A novel coalitional game theory model for partition function games with non-transferable utility is proposed. used to formalize a in which find coalitions among themselves order trade their consumption flexibility market. Utility functions are defined enable measuring players preferences. Two case studies presented, including simple illustrative case, assesses and explains detail; large-scale scenario based on real data, comprising more than 20,000 consumers. Results show that proposed able reach solutions suitable when compared achieved by traditional techniques power energy systems, such as clustering-based methodologies. The found consider perspectives from all involved thus reflect rational behaviour players, rather imposing an solution only beneficial perspective aggregator.
