On an atomic decomposition in Banach spaces
An atomic decomposition is considered in Banach space. A method for constructing an atomic decomposition of Banach space, starting with atomic decomposition of subspaces is presented. Some relations between them are established. The proposed method is used in the study of the frame properties of systems of eigenfunctions and associated functions of discontinuous differential operators.
متن کاملconstruction of vector fields with positive lyapunov exponents
in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...

Comment on “ Compact wave functions for four - electron atomic systems ”
The paper by Frolov and Wardlaw [1] that motivated this Comment (“the PRA paper”) is one of a series of contributions [1–4] taking the viewpoint that their electronic-energy computations on small atomic systems provide a basis for study of the so-called 1/Z expansion, i.e., an expansion that describes the nonrelativistic energies (in Hartree units) of the members of an atomic isoelectronic seri...
متن کاملAn Approach to Disjoint-Support Decomposition of Logic Functions
This paper describes a new approach to disjoint-support decomposition. Its advantage over Bertacco-Damiani [1] and Minato-DeMicheli [2] is that it is relatively simple and easy to implement. The advantage over Sasao-Matsuura [3] is that the run time is reasonable (less than 1 sec for functions with 20-25 inputs). It has not been proved that this method determines all disjoin-support decompositi...
