Constructing Electron-Atom Elastic Scattering Potentials Using Relativistic Coupled-Cluster Theory: A Few Case Studies

In light of the immense interest in understanding impact an electron on atoms low-energy scattering phenomena observed laboratories and astrophysical processes, we propose approach to construct potentials using relativistic coupled-cluster (RCC) theory for determination electron-atom (e-A) elastic cross-sections (eSCs). The net potential electron, scattered elastically by atom, is conveniently expressed as sum static (Vst) exchange (Vex) due interactions with electrons atom polarization effects (Vpol) atomic electrons. Vst Vex e-A eSC problems can be constructed a knowledge density function while Vpol obtained polarizabilities atom. this paper, present densities electric polarizabilties Be, Mg, Ne Ar two variants RCC method. Using these quantities, problems. To obtain accurately, evaluate second- third-order dipole quadrupole linear response approach.
