چکیده
The $\beta$-functions describe how couplings run under the renormalization group flow in field theories. In general, all that respect symmetry and locality are generated flow, exact is characterized by defined infinite dimensional space of couplings. this paper, we show highly constrained so a measure zero subspace completely determine entire We provide quantum group-based algorithm for reconstructing full from subspace. As examples, derive $O(N)$ vector model $O_L(N) \times O_R(N)$ matrix entirely single-trace

Poincaré invariance constraints on non-relativistic effective field theories
The heavy quark effective field theory (HQET) is the effective field theory of QCD suitable for describing heavy-light mesons [1]. The heavyquark four momentum can be split into a large and a small component: p = mv + k, where m is the heavy quark mass, v a unit vector and k a residual momentum of the order of ΛQCD. The large and small component fields ψ v are defined in terms of the heavy-quar...
متن کاملSolar system constraints on multi-field theories of modified dynamics
Any viable theory of modified Newtonian dynamics (MOND) as modified gravity is likely to require fields in addition to the usual tensor field of General Relativity. For such theories the MOND phenomenology emerges as an effective fifth force probably associated with a scalar field. Here I consider the constraints imposed upon such theories by solar system phenomenology, primarily by the absence...
متن کاملTree Level Constraints on Conformal Field Theories and String Models*
* Simple tree level constraints for conformal field theories which follow from the requirement of crossing symmetry of four-point amplitudes are presented, and their utility for probing general properties of string models is briefly illustrated and discussed. Contributed to the String 89: Superstring Workshop, College Station, Texas, March 13-18, 1989. * Work supported by the Department of Ener...
متن کاملElectroweak Constraints on Effective Theories
We discuss electroweak constraints on TeV scale extensions of the standard model. To obtain model-independent results, effective theory approach is adopted. Constraints are given on arbitrary linear combinations of a set of dimension-6 operators that respect the SM gauge symmetry, as well as CP, lepton and baryon number conservation. Applications of the results are also discussed.
متن کاملOn Quantum Field Theories
We derive unitarity restrictions on the scaling dimensions of primary quantum operators in a superconformal quantum field theory, in d =3, 4, 5, 6. 1. Introduction Whereas classical massless field theories are often conformally invariant, the same is rarely true of their quantum counterparts. To define a quantum field theory, you need to specify both a Lagrangian and a cutoff. The cutoff introd...
