چکیده
Nowadays, shape memory polymers (SMPs)-based devices are required to be much smarter produce large recovery and force with lower working temperatures in order enable multi-functionality them. They could play a vital role the advancement of multi-functional soft robot manipulators, biomedical tools wearable where is key challenge must around body temperature, or sustainable smart systems low energy consumption. The aim this paper introduce thermo-electro-magneto-responsive fibrous SMPs (TEMFSMPs) as new class highly enhanced reduced temperature. A three-dimensional constitutive model developed simulate thermo-electro-magneto-visco-hyperelastic behaviors under deformation for first time. Constitutive relations derived by adopting an electro-magneto-visco-hyperelasticity theory implementing it thermo-mechanical cycle SMPs. To improve strength SMPs, bunch fibers also embedded into SMP matrix. Then, proposed uniaxial tension complex loading regimes such simultaneous torsion extension solved semi-analytically. In addition, response through validated via available experimental tests. Numerical results reveal that electro-magnetic features can significantly enhance TEMFSMPs their temperatures. It found field, orientation, stiffness effectively set tune effect bio-applicability stress/strain

Shape Memory Investigation of α-Keratin Fibers as Multi-Coupled Stimuli of Responsive Smart Materials
Like the water responsive shape memory (SM) effect of β-keratin bird feathers, α-keratin hairs either existing broadly in nature are found responsive to many types of coupled stimuli in SM behaviors. In this article, α-keratin hairs were investigated for the combined stimuli of thermo-solvent, solvent-solvent, and UV (radiation)-reductant sensitive SM abilities. The related netpoints and switch...
متن کاملTemperature-responsive smart packing materials utilizing multi-functional polymers.
Polymers that respond to small changes in environmental stimuli with large, sometimes discontinuous changes in their physical state or properties, are often called "smart" polymers. Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide), PNIPAAm, is one of the most representative smart polymer that exhibits a thermally reversible soluble-insoluble change in the vicinity of its lower critical solution temperature (LCST) a...
متن کاملReconfigurable photonic crystals enabled by pressure-responsive shape-memory polymers
Smart shape-memory polymers can memorize and recover their permanent shape in response to an external stimulus (for example, heat). They have been extensively exploited for a wide spectrum of applications ranging from biomedical devices to aerospace morphing structures. However, most of the existing shape-memory polymers are thermoresponsive and their performance is hindered by heat-demanding p...
متن کاملMulti-shape active composites by 3D printing of digital shape memory polymers
Recent research using 3D printing to create active structures has added an exciting new dimension to 3D printing technology. After being printed, these active, often composite, materials can change their shape over time; this has been termed as 4D printing. In this paper, we demonstrate the design and manufacture of active composites that can take multiple shapes, depending on the environmental...
متن کاملStimuli-Responsive Microjets with Reconfigurable Shape**
Flexible thermoresponsive polymeric microjets are formed by the self-folding of polymeric layers containing a thin Pt film used as catalyst for self-propulsion in solutions containing hydrogen peroxide. The flexible microjets can reversibly fold and unfold in an accurate manner by applying changes in temperature to the solution in which they are immersed. This effect allows microjets to rapidly...
