Conceptual model of IMSIC-250 cyclotron magnet

Proton therapy with accelerator systems has been used in the last 30 years to destroy tumors by producing highly energetic ion beams. Although different have introduced and designed accelerate ions, superconductive cyclotron is one of most efficient treatment equipment compared other systems. In this research, design study Iranian Medical Superconducting Cyclotron (IMSIC-250) was considered. The IMSIC-250 system a fixed frequency four spiral sector magnets protons form H2+ particles up 250 MeV/amu. current study, process superconducting magnet coil structure reported. 3D model pole alongside modeled. main characteristics were also studied. It demonstrated that capable desired isochronous magnetic field order MeV. stability acceleration achieved nonnegative value flutter over particles. For structure, density turns applied force concept investigate process. discovered when particle acceleration. Finally, against magnetics (Lorentz) investigated it on would not destructive influence coil.
