Computerized Ionospheric Tomography Based on the ADS-B System

The broadcast automatic dependent surveillance (ADS-B) system is a new-generation air traffic control designed to avoid the waste of resources in secondary radars. establishment spaceborne ADS-B provides broad prospect for ionospheric tomography. In this paper, external observation information ionosphere obtained by measuring Faraday rotation angle, that is, total electron content (TEC). Tomography research can be carried out all over world conduct large-scale density research. experiment selected two different regions and had time resolution hours, height 200 km, latitude 2°, longitude 5°. Based on simulated signal invert regional density, latitude, longitude, distributions inversion result are basically consistent with those actual density.
