چکیده
In this study, the fracture propagation characteristics and associated mechanisms of coal are investigated by using computed tomography (CT) observation image-based simulation. The spatial distribution structural morphology original fractures provide significant influences on failure behavior fractured coal. with small dip angles large openings result in more-obvious closure stable stages, while pattern is more sensitive to those angles. tends experience brittle failure, which transits from a splitting mixed-splitting faulting mode because difference distribution. final network originates mainly fractures, driven localized tensile stress. Fracture interaction mineral influence tend increase complexity network. Moreover, numerical models established basis CT reconstruction, where properly considered. Numerical modeling reproduces similar stress–strain responses networks that observed experiment. predicted stress shows evolution trend network, implying dominated failure. Shear cracks emerge after running through sample has been formed.

Compressed Sensing Based Computed Tomography Image Reconstruction
In computed tomography (CT), an important objective is to reduce radiation dose without degrading image quality. The radiation exposure from CT scan will make severe problem in humans. This has high risk in the case of children and female. The higher exposure will lead to leukemia, cancer etc. So that low dose CT image reconstruction is the main concern now days. We have to reconstruct the imag...
متن کاملDoes Computed Tomography Change our Observation and Management of Fracture Non-Unions?
Background: The purpose of this study was to determine whether Multi-Detector Computed Tomography (MDCT) in addition to plain radiographs influences radiologists’ and orthopedic surgeons’ diagnosis and treatment plans for delayed unions and non-unions. Methods: A retrospective database of 32 non-unions was reviewed by 20 observers. On a scale of 1 to 5, observers rated on X-Ray and a...
متن کاملImage Optimization in Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography by Hardware Modifications with Monte Carlo Simulation
Introduction: In Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), the projection data used for image reconstruction are distorted by several factors, including attenuation and scattering of gamma rays, collimator structure, data acquisition method, organ motion, and washout of radiopharmaceuticals. All these make reconstruction of a quantitative SPECT image very difficult. Simulation of a SP...

Introduction: Due to the use of ionizing radiation in the CT scan, optimal parameters should be used to reduce the risk of cancer in patients who are constantly exposed to X-rays. The aim of this study was to optimize the parameters used in CT scan of cervical vertebrae and neck soft tissue with minimal loss of image quality Materials and Methods: In this s...
