چکیده
Objective: The study aims to ascertain the prevalence of paranasal sinus variations among healthy adults in Turkish population, as well analyze symmetry these variations. Methods: CTIs 200 adult patients who did not have any trauma, carcinoma, tumor, surgery, or a condition that could affect anatomy, such chronic rhinosinusitis, were included. prevalences Agger nasi cell (ANC), supraorbital ethmoid (SOEC), Haller's (HC), middle turbinate pneumatization, and frontal (FS) agenesis population revealed. Results: Bilateral SOECs found 38.5% patients, at least 53% had on one side. In 21.5% instances, LCs observed both sides; 35% they ANCs bilaterally 68.5% total, rate with ANC side was 84.5%. bilaterality Haller (HC) 24%, it 43% cases. concha bullosa (CB) 19% while CB variation 42%. absence FS be 8.5%, unilateral 2.5%. Conclusion: most common ANC, agenesis. inheritance prevalent SOEC. findings our hold significance for interventional procedures involving region.

15 صفحه اولEvaluation of Anatomical Variations of Nasal Cavity and Paranasal Sinuses with Cone Beam Computed Tomography
Material and Method: In this study, 251 patients’ nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses were evaluated using CBCT (Newtom 5G, Verona Italy) images in terms of anatomical variations. The high-resolution (voxel and slice thickness: 0.2 mm) multiplanar reformatting images (MPR) were used for the evaluation of the variations. Results: The most common anatomical variation of nasal cavity and paranasa...
