چکیده
A flexible asynchronous AC link (FASAL) system is a technology that interconnects two power networks operating at the same or different frequencies. The FASAL newly developed technology; therefore, it requires thorough investigation under unbalanced grid voltage conditions for better behavioral understanding and appropriate future controller design. In this paper, analyzed various symmetrical asymmetrical conditions. Moreover, performance of back-to-back source converter (VSC) based HVDC also to establish its comparison with VSC-HVDC systems are modeled in PSCAD/EMTDC software environment. simulation results illustrate transient as well steady-state Furthermore, reduction receiving end side lesser system. For example, 10% sag contributes only 15% dip system, whereas reports 30% condition.

The unbalance currents injection by power electronic transformers in order to improve the unbalance voltage conditions of the network causes an imbalanced voltage in the DC link capacitors and creates an active powers inequality in the different phases. In this paper, the proposed control structure independently controls the active power of each phase by modifying the power angle between the vo...
متن کاملSliding Mode Control of a Grid-Connected Distributed Generation Unit under Unbalanced Voltage Conditions
The increasing presence of inverter-based distributed generation (DG) units in distribution networks (DNs) requires control methods that achieve high performance not only during normal operating conditions, but also under unbalanced conditions. With a high probability, a type of voltage unbalance in DNs is unequal three-phase voltage magnitudes at the fundamental system frequency. This can occu...
متن کاملPassivity-Based Control of a Doubly Fed Induction Generator System under Unbalanced Grid Voltage Conditions
According to the theory of passivity-based control (PBC), this paper establishes a port-controlled Hamiltonian system with dissipation (PCHD) model for a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) system under unbalanced grid voltage conditions and proposes a method of interconnection and damping assignment passivity-based control (IDA-PBC) of the system under such conditions. By using this method, ...
متن کاملLow Voltage Ride Through Enhancement Based on Improved Direct Power Control of DFIG under Unbalanced and Harmonically Distorted Grid Voltage
In the conventional structure of the wind turbines along with the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), the stator is directly connected to the power grid. Therefore, voltage changes in the grid result in severe transient conditions in the stator and rotor. In cases where the changes are severe, the generator will be disconnected from the grid and consequently the grid stability will be attenu...
