Composition & Ecological Role of Soil Macrofauna in Selorejo and Punten Citrus Farming, Malang - East Java

Conventional Citrus crops farming is an system that uses cultivation techniques with maximum use of chemicals and organics material there to support a sustainable agricultural system. Indicators environmental quality can be known from the composition ecological role fauna, one which soil macrofauna. This research aims investigate diversity community structure macrofauna identification its in at Selorejo, Dau Punten Villages, Bumiaji, Malang Regency.This study descriptive exploratory order on capturing each location for three times. The observation method used pitfall traps handshorter methods. All data was tabulated Microsoft Excel. Abiotic factor measurements two locations have no different value sampling plot. obtained important index (IVI) Shannon-Wiener (H'). Soil as many 28 families highest importance (IVI), namely Formicidae. results showed Selorejo consists Predator 46%, Herbivorous 25%, Decomposer 11%, Scavenger 7%, others while 55% Predator, 10% Herbivorous,15% Decomposer,5% Scavenger, 15%.
