Compliance to treatment regimen among diabetic patients at Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia, Nigeria

Background: Diabetes is an endocrine disorder at the same time a major cause of morbidity and mortality in developing developed countries. The incidence rapidly increasing sub-saharan Africa experiencing largest percentage, Nigeria has number people living with diabetes estimated 3.9 million. Globally burden increasing, according to International Federation (IDF) will increase by end 2013, there were 382 million (8.3% adult world population) worldwide which 80% live low middle income countries, currently, have 20 diabetes, about 62% are not diagnosed. Objectives 1.To assess level medication compliance among diabetic patients.2.To dietary patients. 3.To identify factors affecting treatment regimen Method: A study was used patients Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria.
