چکیده
Knee arthroplasty can significantly improve the quality of life patients with knee osteoarthritis. About 20 % afterknee unsatisfied surgical treatment results. One factors that reduces unsatisfactory results is useof new rehabilitation technologies. Objective. Investigate feasibility and effectiveness proposed system within2–3 months after arthroplasty. Methods. A prospective study two groups osteoarthritis arthroplastywas conducted. The group БР consisted 28 who did not undergo special treatment. Р consistedof 30 underwent in hospital within 2–3 surgery. were comparablein terms age body mass index. Flexion extension angles operated measured bothgroups 5–6 course included: massage musclesof lower back, buttocks, thighs, leg foot on side; performing physical exercises twice a day fortwo weeks. Methods non-parametric statistics used to process statistical significance differences forunrelated samples was checked using Mann-Whitney U-test (CMU), for connected ones, Wilcoxon test (CV). Results. After rehabilitation, flexion angle rate increased 1.3 times amounted 90° (90°; 100°) (КВ, р < 0.01).In during same period partial regression, amounting 100° (100°; 110°). rateof both change. But Р, all had deficiency operatedknee, it disappeared. In БР, knee, decreasedslightly, but disappear. Conclusions. use arthroplastyrestores volume movements risk contracture joint (especially extensioncontracture) restores normal stereotype walking.

Target range of motion for rehabilitation after total knee arthroplasty
Objective: Postoperative knee range of motion (ROM) is among the most important factors influencing patient satisfaction after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). The purpose of this study was to clarify the time course of improvement in knee ROM up to 12 months after TKA, including intraoperative knee ROM after implantation, and to clarify a target ROM for rehabilitation after TKA. Patients and Met...
متن کاملKnee Fusion or Above-The-Knee Amputation after Failed Two-Stage Reimplantation Total Knee Arthroplasty
Prosthetic joint infection (PJI) is a serious complication of total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Control of infection after a failed two-stage TKA is not always possible, and the resolution of infection may require an above-knee amputation (AKA) or a the-knee (KF). The purpose of this review is to determine which treatment method (AKA or KF) yields better function and ambulatory status for patients...

Recently, a strong emphasis has been placed on establishing rehabilitation protocols after primary total hip and knee arthroplasty in an attempt to shorten, improve, and standardize the postoperative period of recovery. Less invasive surgical techniques, patient demands, and the pressure of insurance regulations have forced postoperative rehabilitation to be placed on an expedited scale. With t...
متن کاملProprioception after unicondylar knee arthroplasty versus total knee arthroplasty.
Proprioception was measured in 2 groups of patients after successful knee arthroplasty. Twenty-eight patients had total knee arthroplasty and their results were compared with an age matched group of 10 subjects who had undergone unicondylar knee arthroplasty. The threshold to detection of passive motion was quantified as a measure of proprioception. The degree of preoperative arthritis was obje...
