Complete oriented colourings and the oriented achromatic number
In this paper, we initiate the study of complete colourings of oriented graphs and the new associated notion of the oriented achromatic number of oriented and undirected graphs. In particular, we prove that for every integers a and b with 2 ≤ a ≤ b, there exists an oriented graph −→ Ga,b with oriented chromatic number a and oriented achromatic number b. We also prove that adding a vertex, delet...
متن کاملAcyclic, Star and Oriented Colourings of Graph Subdivisions
Let G be a graph with chromatic number χ(G). A vertex colouring of G is acyclic if each bichromatic subgraph is a forest. A star colouring of G is an acyclic colouring in which each bichromatic subgraph is a star forest. Let χa(G) and χs(G) denote the acyclic and star chromatic numbers of G. This paper investigates acyclic and star colourings of subdivisions. Let G′ be the graph obtained from G...
متن کاملParaphrasing the meaning of physical environment comparative examining of audience-oriented, author-oriented and text-oriented (Islamic) approaches
Discussions derived from epistemology and its sub-branches are of the most important theoretical grounds affecting theoretical basis of art schools in particular architecture styles. During recent decades, two approaches of epistemology have been reciprocally shaped to know how one can paraphrase the meaning of physical environment. In the first approach, the audience and his knowledge are main...
متن کاملA Study of $k$-dipath Colourings of Oriented Graphs
We examine t-colourings of oriented graphs in which, for a fixed integer k ≥ 1, vertices joined by a directed path of length at most k must be assigned different colours. A homomorphism model that extends the ideas of Sherk for the case k = 2 is described. Dichotomy theorems for the complexity of the problem of deciding, for fixed k and t, whether there exists such a t-colouring are proved.
متن کاملComparison of the Effect of (Child-oriented and Teacher-oriented) Educational Methods on the Motor Skills Development of Children
Background and Purpose: Basic motor skills are the basis of advanced sports skills which should be considered in pre-school and primary school ages. The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of (child-oriented and teacher-oriented) educational methods on the motor skills development of children. Method: This was a causal- comparative research. The statistical population of the study c...
