چکیده
Despite a long research history, the lactate threshold continues to be widely controversial field. Notwithstanding controversies and influence of multiple determinants, estimation in sports has been considered one essential parameters prescription training intensity, load monitoring, perfor- mance prediction. The study aimed compare anaerobic ventilatory thresholds as determined by different methods elite soccer players. consisted twenty-five division 1 players were separated into two groups based on their run times treadmill. Group (age 24.38±7.33 years, height 180.33±7.03 cm, weight 75.53±7.68 kg) who completed more than 17 minutes treadmill, while group 2 25.11±6.07 182.11±10.03 79.72±7.54 those less minutes. an incremental maximal cardiopulmonary exercise testing from which determined. Furthermore, measurements blood samples obtained every 3 after completing each stage test, with total 141 completed. Multivariate tests indicated no significant differences speeds calculated thresh- old methods. These findings suggest that (VT2) can used alternative invasive measurements. Therefore, identifying point without utilizing inva- sive procedure enhances potential application VT2 or respiratory compensation point.

BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of ventilatory parameters in maximal exercise performance in elite soccer players. METHODS From September 2009 to December 2012, 90 elite soccer players underwent evaluation of lung function test and ergospirometry by means of an incremental symptom-limited treadmill test. Results were analyzed according to i) maximal exercise velo...

Introduction: Training techniques, age, and climatic conditions may play a significant role in physiological responses of soccer players. Therefore, this study set out to investigate changes in the serum interleukin-18 (IL-18) and blood lactate levels of teenagers after playing small-sided soccer games in warm weather. Corresponde...
متن کاملThe relationship between selected blood lactate thresholds and match performance in elite soccer referees.
The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between selected blood lactate thresholds and competitive match activities in elite soccer referees. Eight elite-level referees (mean age, 37.6 +/- 3.4 years) were each observed during 2 Serie A matches (n = 16), and the mean of each match activity was used for analysis. Match activities were monitored using a technology similar to that repo...
