چکیده
The aim of this study was to measure the bone mineral density specific regions maxilla, mandible, and first cervical vertebra using Hounsfield unit trabecular microstructure pattern analysis compare two methods. In study, cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images were obtained from 58 patients. Trabecular thickness, number, separation, volume fraction measured in 484 for parameters grayscale value. There no difference between right left side every site males females. thickness number high order anterior base mandibular body, vertebra, condyle. Bone condyle, (p < 0.05). positively correlated unit, separation negatively 0.005). This suggests that it is possible various sites analysis.

متن کاملThe relationship between dental implant stability and trabecular bone structure using cone-beam computed tomography.
PURPOSE The objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between primary implant stability as measured by impact response frequency and the structural parameters of trabecular bone using cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT), excluding the effect of cortical bone thickness. METHODS We measured the impact response of a dental implant placed into swine bone specimens composed of o...
متن کاملCone-beam computed tomography images of phantoms with simulating trabecular bone structure fabricated using micro-stereolithography.
OBJECTIVE Phantoms with simulating mandibular trabecular bone structure fabricated using micro-stereolithography were applied for a quantitative evaluation of cone-beam computed tomography (CT) images. MATERIALS AND METHODS Phantoms with a three-dimensional lattice, in which a square pillar was set at 0.10, 0.20, 0.30 and 0.40 mm at the edge, spaced at 0.60 mm, were made of an acrylic resin u...
متن کاملTrabecular bone structural parameters evaluated using dental cone-beam computed tomography: cellular synthetic bones
OBJECTIVE This study compared the adequacy of dental cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and micro computed tomography (micro-CT) in evaluating the structural parameters of trabecular bones. METHODS The cellular synthetic bones in 4 density groups (Groups 1-4: 0.12, 0.16, 0.20, and 0.32 g/cm3) were used in this study. Each group comprised 8 experimental specimens that were approximately 1 cm...
