چکیده
Abstract Introduction The SYNTAX III REVOLUTION trial demonstrated that clinical decision-making between coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and percutaneous intervention (PCI) based on computed tomography (CCTA) predicting four years mortality according to the score II had a high agreement with treatment decision derived from invasive angiography (ICA). of novel 2020 (SS-2020) CCTA ICA has not yet been evaluated in prospective fashion. Methods This study included 54 consecutive patients ongoing FASTTRACK CABG investigates making, planning procedural guidance solely FFRct. All underwent ICA, SS-2020 was calculated results anatomical either or respective scores were compared by using paired t-test. Results mean age 67.3±9.7, 48 men (88.9%). Anatomical assessed cases (analysability 100%). 34.3±9.3, 35.5±11.3, respectively (P=0.480). As shown table predicted 5 major adverse cardiac cerebrovascular events (MACCE) following PCI CABG, as well 10 differed significantly. However absolute risk differences (ARD) MACCE comparable. Conclusions High agreements confirmed calculations ICA. Despite significant rates at mortalities years, ARD In terms decision-making, is non-invasive predictive tool comparable one Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None.

SYNTAX score based on coronary computed tomography angiography may have a prognostic value in patients with complex coronary artery disease
The SYNergy between percutaneous coronary intervention with TAXus and cardiac surgery (SYNTAX) score is an invasive coronary angiography (ICA)-based score for quantifying the complexity of coronary artery disease (CAD). Although the SYNTAX score was originally developed based on ICA, recent publications have reported that coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) is a feasible modality fo...
متن کاملCan coronary computed tomography angiography replace invasive angiography? Coronary computed tomography angiography cannot replace invasive angiography.
O ne million patients undergo invasive coronary angiogra-phy (CA) in the United States every year. 1 In view of its invasive nature and related costs, noninvasive imaging of coronary imaging has the theoretical appeal to improve comfort for patients, reduce cost, and refine patient selection to limit invasive procedures to patients requiring treatment for ischemic coronary artery disease (CAD)....

INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES Although it has been demonstrated that the diagnostic accuracy of computed tomography in the non-invasive assessment of major epicardial coronary arteries is high, only a few studies have evaluated the technique's reliability in assessing coronary artery bypass grafts. The aim of this study was to determine the diagnostic accuracy of multidetector computed tomography...

متن کاملComparison of non-invasive multi-slice computed tomography coronary angiography versus invasive coronary angiography and fractional flow reserve for the evaluation of men with known coronary artery disease.
Multislice computed tomographic coronary angiography (MSCT) can accurately detect the presence of atherosclerosis noninvasively. However, a discrepancy has been observed between MSCT and noninvasive functional imaging. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the correlation between MSCT and invasive fractional flow reserve (FFR) in men with known coronary artery disease. Thirty-three p...
