Comparison of PCR and Loop Mediated Isothermal Amplification Method for Detection of Salmonella spp. in Chicken Meat

چکیده

The aim of the study was to compare Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) and Loop Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) assay for detection Salmonella in Chicken Meat. Food safety remains a major concern worldwide, with outbreaks foodborne illness resulting significant costs individuals food industry. genus is most prevalent group pathogens that are regularly isolated from food-producing animals thus one leading causes borne diseases. Out total 40 isolates, LAMP PCR detected 36 (90%) 32 (80%) respectively. sensitivity noted be 10-fold higher than whereas specificity both same.
