Comparison of Online Education and Face-to-face Education in terms of Student Satisfaction in Physiology Education

Aim: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a rapidly spreading pandemic all over the World. Social isolation is most effective prevention option after vaccination. Many habits have changed in our lives due to social during pandemic. In terms of education, globally, traditional education system turned into an online system. Physiology compulsory course that important place health and fundamental science for understanding pathophysiology, assessment, pharmacology. With transition system, it necessary determine effectiveness physiology education. aim this study face-to-face on students measure students' satisfaction.Methods: research was conducted with 916 studying at 29 universities different provinces Türkiye through survey. This survey self-designed based 3-point Likert scale. applied 50 questions form were finalized according answers received. given grouped under four titles Demographic Information, Educational Access Online Education Perspective Physiology. obtained data interpreted by being subjected statistical analysis.Results: comparison preferences been number who consider sufficient lessons, general, are few (n=242, 26.4%), those see incompletely more (n=367, 40.1%), while 1/3 gave neutral views (n=307, 33.5%). majority participants opinion "face-to-face increasing knowledge compared education" “It difficult me focus courses education”.Conclusions: perceived stress level medical school experienced summative type exam first time found be high before exam. methods will field frequently developed coming years. For reason, there need studies which factors cause exams determined.
