چکیده

In order to improve perinatal outcomes and reduce mother foetal morbidity mortality especially in high-risk pregnancies, there is an immense need do thorough antepartum surveillance test. Aims Objectives: To compare modified biophysical profile (MBPP) Doppler studies results for prediction of outcome evaluate the association between mode delivery abnormal MBPP.Methodology: This a prospective observational comparative study. High-risk term patients were taken this study, following which MBPP performed within 48 72 hours delivery. The study population divided as follows was assessed:A-Normal normal velocimetryB-Normal velocimetryC-Abnormal velocimetryD-Abnormal velocimetry. Results: The factor greatest number patients, accounted 39.33% pregnancy-induced hypertension. Age less than 25 years 88 (55%). 67 primigravida (44.7%), LSCS termination pregnancy 127 (84.7%) patients.Greatest prenatal complications occurred individuals who had Doppler, with significant P value < 0.05., Subsequently followed by MBPP, significantly higher NPV (63.64% vs. 59.41%), makes it helpful identifying healthy new-borns.Conclusion: our determined that better adverse observed when both done combination MBPP.

The Relationship between Modified Biophysical Profile, Standard Biophysical Profile, and Neonatal Outcomes of High-risk Pregnancies

Introduction: High-risk pregnancies can result in many complications for the fetus. In these pregnancies, different tests such as non-stress test (NST), biophysical profile (BPP), oxytocin contraction stress test (OCT), and Doppler sonography can be used to evaluate fetal health. As standard BBP requires more time and expertise, in this study, we evaluated the relationship between standard BPP,...

a prospective trial of the fetal biophysical profile versus modified biophysical profile in the management of high risk pregnancies

the original biophysical profile is time consuming and costly. this study was performed to compare diagnostic value of the original fetal biophysical profile to the modified biophysical profile. patients were selected from high risk pregnancies referred for fetal assessment and were randomly assigned to two groups. the measures of outcomes were perinatal mortality, cesarean section for abnormal...

Modified Biophysical Profile and Fetal Outcome in High Risk Pregnancy

The aims and objectives of this study was to evaluate foetal health in high risk pregnancy with modified B.P.P., to record the perinatal outcome, to evaluate efficacy of modified B.P.P. in predicting perinatal outcome in high risk pregnancy. In this study 110 admitted cases having one or more high risk factors were studied. Modified B.P.P., N.S.T. and C.T.G. was done. Only the last antenatal te...

Comparing Perinatal Outcome in Twin and Singleton Pregnancies Regarding Doppler Evaluation of Uterine Artery Indices in the Second Trimester

Background: Prediction of adverse perinatal and postnatal outcomes could be possible by using ultrasound Doppler evaluation, however there are some controversies regarding this issue in the literature. The goal of present study was to evaluate predictive value of Doppler indices in single and twin pregnancies during second trimester. Materials and Methods: This prospective study was conducted i...
