چکیده
Abstract Livestock manure is reported to be one source of methane (CH 4 ) emission. The objective this study was measure production from several types livestock manure. experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD), with 6 kinds (cow, buffalo, goat, rabbit, chicken, and duck). Each treatment repeated three times during 8 weeks. research method closed chamber method, intervals 5 minutes. Methane samples were analyzed using gas chromatography. results the showed that eight weeks observation, significantly (p <0.05) affected at 3, 6, 7, 8. In those weeks, duck produced highest compared other Total observation which by 97.99 mg g ?1 . Meanwhile, lowest rabbit (2.70 ). concluded methane, conversely, methane. characteristics fresh determine level Making biogas best effort in mitigating

Simultaneous Ammonia removal and Methane Production from Chicken Manure under Dry Thermophilic Condition
In a trail to improve and reduce the cost of dry anaerobic fermentation of chicken manure with ammonia stripping through biogas recycling, raw chicken manure (RCM) is used as a sole substrate instead of using treated chicken manure (TCM) or mixture of TCM:RCM (1:1) used previously. Biogas produced was ranged from 23.555 L kg-CM-1 with methane percentage of 70 to 85%, the amount which is 61 to 9...
متن کاملEstimation of the Methane Emission Factor for Buffalo Cattle and Bulls
In order to determine the incidence of buffaloes on enteric CH4 emissions, information about animal production and farm management was analyzed and the CH4 emission factor estimated using the IPCC Tier 2 model. CH4 emission factor for the category of buffalo cattle and buffalo bulls was estimated for the period 2000-2007, in Italy, Europe and worldwide. During 2007, the CH4 emission factor for ...
متن کاملProduction of Hydroxylapatite from Biowaste, Chicken Manure by Hydrothermal Process
Hydrothermal process has been applied for effective production of Hydrogen from biowastes. In this study hydrothermal process for production of valuable Hydroxylapatitefrom chicken manure containing phosphorus was focused on. Conditions of 400 ̊C and 26 27 MPa with addition of 1 mmol Ca(OH)2 were determined as the optimal by using Ophospho-DL-serine as a model compound. Afterwards, the real biow...
متن کاملmethane production from anaerobic co-digestion of poultry manure
this study investigated the effect of loading and temperature on anaerobic co-digestion of poultry manure with straw in mesophilic conditions. the study was made at lab-scale using 70l reactor with a hrt of 15 days. during the first phase, different loads of 1.0, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 kg vs/m3.d were studied in order to produce biogas. at load of 3.0 kg vs/ m3.d, vs removal and gas product...
