Comparison of Bipolar Diathermy and Suture Ligation for Haemostasis in Tonsillectomy

Objective: To compare bipolar diathermy and suture ligation for haemostasis in tonsillectomy terms of the amount blood loss, number ligatures applied, average time taken incidence postoperative haemorrhage. Study Design: Randomized controlled trial Place Duration Study: Multicenter study conducted ENT Surgery Departments/Units Public Private Sector Hospitals Lahore from 1st July 2017 to 31st 2018. Methodology: Sixty six patients were enrolled. Informed consent demographic information was takenfrom all patients. Patient himself control trial.
