Comparative Study of Anthropometric Measurement and Body Composition Between Elite Handball and Volleyball Players from the Serbian National League

The purpose of this study was to describe the anthropometric characteristics and body composition elite handball volleyball players from Serbian national league as well make comparisons between them. Sixty males were enrolled, divided into three groups: 15 players, 14 31 healthy sedentary subjects. All subjects assessed for measures required calculation variables, using standardized procedures recommended by established literature. Data analysed SPSS, descriptive statistics expressed a mean (SD) each variable, while ANOVA LSD Post Hoc tests carried out detect effects type sport. results showed there no significant difference weight mass index, nor any differences bone contents bodies among groups, found height, muscle fat content groups. These findings may give coaches region better working knowledge enable them follow recent selection process methods be more careful during talent identification.
