چکیده
The experiment was conducted at the research plot of Department Agricultural Entomology Central Research Field, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj, India, during Rabi season 2022. treatments selected for this were Emamectin benzoate, Beauveria bassiana, Spinosad, Heterorhabditis indica, Metarhizium anisopliae, HaNPV, Bacillus thuringiensis control to observe efficacy cost benefit ratio. sprayed two times pod borers having crossed their ETL levels an interval 15 days. Observations i.e. larval counts (5 random plants/plot) taken in order day before spray, 3rd, 7th 14th days after spray. results revealed that successful bringing down pest infestation superior over control. Among all applied, lowest population gram borer observed Spinosad 45 SC (1.09) showing a highest yield 23.79 q/ha against yielding only upto 9.03 q/ha. At same time, ratios stands like 45% (1:2.81) followed by benzoate 5% SG (1:2.74), HaNPV 2x109 (POB’s/ml) (1:2.56), bassiana 1x108 (CFU/gram) (1:1.74), (CFU/ml) (1:1.54), anisopliae (1:1.37), indica 5.0x109 IJ (1:1.30) as compared (1:0.69).

Efficacy of Some Synthetic and Biopesticides Against Pod Borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) in Chickpea
Efficacy of some synthetic and biopesticides against pod borer, Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) damage in chickpea was studied at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Ishurdi, Pabna, Bangladesh during rabi cropping season of 2004-05. Synthetic and biopesticides reduced pod borer damage significantly. Significantly lowest pod damage was observed in cypermethrin (5.75%) and HNPV (5.86%) spra...
متن کاملExpression of a Chimeric Gene Encoding Insecticidal Crystal Protein Cry1Aabc of Bacillus thuringiensis in Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) Confers Resistance to Gram Pod Borer (Helicoverpa armigera Hubner.)
Domain swapping and generation of chimeric insecticidal crystal protein is an emerging area of insect pest management. The lepidopteran insect pest, gram pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera H.) wreaks havoc to chickpea crop affecting production. Lepidopteran insects were reported to be controlled by Bt (cryI) genes. We designed a plant codon optimized chimeric Bt gene (cry1Aabc) using three domains...
متن کاملgenetic engineering for increasing resistance of chickpea (cicer arietinum l.) to pod borer (helicoverpa armigera)
pod borer is one of the main factors for yield decrease of chickpea. therefore, breeding of chickpea for resistance to this pest is important. modified cry1ac gene of bacillus thuringiensis in pcry1ac-nptii plasmid containing twin t-dna for cry1ac and nptii genes have been used for transformation of chickpea. at last 38 plants had nptii gene that 36 plants of them had cry1ac gene and two plants...
متن کاملPurification and characterization of trypsin inhibitor from Cicer arietinum L. and its efficacy against Helicoverpa armigera
Protease inhibitors in legumes are one of the most promising weapons that confer resistance against insects by inhibiting proteases present in the gut of insect larvae. In the present study, trypsin inhibitor activity was detected in the seed flour extracts of 10 selected varieties of chickpea. The presence of inhibitor was confirmed by dot blot analysis. All the varieties showed inhibitory act...
