چکیده

The utilization of fishbone as the carbon source for methylene blue adsorption has been successfully studied. Fishbone was prepared from two kinds fish such marine fisheries (ex. Tenggiri) and freshwater Belida). carbons were by carbonation powder at 500 °C 2 h. Physical properties characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), wavelength dispersive fluorescence (WDXRF), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), hydrophobicity. utilized adsorbent removing varying contact time, initial dye concentration, temperature. It is concluded that both can very good adsorb blue. performance (TFC) Tenggiri better than (BFC) Belida fish. well fitted with Langmuir model (R2 ~ 0.998) pseudo-second-order model. This indicated molecules adsorbed on surface-active site via chemical binding, forming an adsorbate monolayer. Thermodynamic parameters, including Gibbs free energy (ΔG), enthalpy (ΔH), entropy (ΔS), onto spontaneous. Methylene Blue-containing Nanoparticle PlatformsT

This article presents the development and characterization of nanoparticles loaded with methylene blue (MB), which are designed to be administered to tumor cells externally and deliver singlet oxygen ('0,) for photodynamic therapy (PDT), i.e. cell kill via oxidative stress to the membrane. We demonstrated the encapsulation of MB, a photosensitizer (PS), in three types of sub-200 nm nanoparticle...

Adsorption and photocatalytic performance of bentonite-titanium dioxide composites for methylene blue and rhodamine B decoloration

Bentonite - TiO2 composites were prepared by impregnation of TiO2 and bentonite, followed by microwave irradiation processes. The composites were characterized using FTIR, SEM, XRD, and nitrogen sorption methods. Anatase phase of TiO2 in all composites are observed through XRD diffraction peaks and surface morphology of the composites. The adsorption and photocatalytic capabilities of the compo...
