Compact Y- Shaped Antenna with partial and meandered ground for WLAN/Wi-Max Applications

A broadband compact Y shaped monopole antenna with band-notched characteristics is designed and investigated. The structure based on the defected ground slit resonating structures. plane loaded two hook slots opposite edges along its width. One horizontal slot one vertical are also etched to improve impedance matching for design resonate in WiMAX WLAN wide bands. It operates at frequencies of 2.68 GHz, 3.75 GHz 5.72GHz Wi-MAX applications. has a size 30×30×1.59 mm3 stable radiation patterns obtained resonant frequencies.
