چکیده

We report on a novel, cost-effective non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) multi-gas sensor aimed at environmental air pollution monitoring. The rugged design of the K96 core combines highest compactness and low-power consumption with our unique multi-channel cell design, featuring detection up to three different gases simultaneously, including CO2, CH4, N2O, H2O. Our sensing platform allows selection target as well concentration ranges, thus providing highly customizable gas systems targeting application-specific monitoring settings. comes an implemented calibration model, can address in real time any cross-sensitivity between NDIR gas-sensing channels. provide immensely versatile system while ensuring high stability combined precision (<0.1 ppm for both CO2 <0.5 CH4). offers resilient solution increasing demand compact field reasonable costs medium-to-high volumes.

Sub-ppm multi gas sensing based on photoacoustic spectroscopy using DFB laser diodes

Sensitive photoacoustic detection of methane (CH4), hydrogen chloride (HCl) and water vapour (H2O) in the near-infrared range using semiconductor DFB lasers is reported. A detection limit of 0.17 ppm of CH4, 0.2 ppm of HCl and 0.024 ppm of H2O (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) is reached using a properly designed photoacoustic cell operating in its first longitudinal mode.
