چکیده
The optimization of immunosuppressive therapies has led to a marked improvement in the survival ANCA-associated vasculitides (AAV). main issue now appears be management comorbidities and quality life. objective this review was investigate incidence impact AAV-associated comorbidities, as well determinants health-related life (HRQoL). We performed systematic literature articles published Medline from 2001 04/28/2020. selected relevant about HRQoL fatigue. For each article, data on comorbidity were extracted, factors associated with Mental component score (MCS) Physical (PCS) identified. Among 10,993 references identified, 103 retained for final analysis. A significant increase cardiovascular risk evidenced, particularly coronary artery disease thromboembolic events, especially during active phase disease. AAV also bronchiectasis, thyroid diseases osteoporosis. decrease an fatigue anxiety reported. Decrease PCS MCS fatigue, mood disorders, sleep disturbance, and/or unemployment. excess mortality is still concern, partly connection comorbidities. patients experiment reduction their that requires integrated management. Patients need strategies improve outcomes.

RATIONALE The relationship between antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) and ANCA-negative vasculitis has not been elucidated. PATIENT CONCERNS A 64-year-old female with edema and proteinuria was admitted. A kidney biopsy indicated focal proliferative nephritis with crescents in 25% of glomeruli. Serum ANCA was negative. Eighteen months later, systemic sym...

PURPOSE OF REVIEW The primary idiopathic small-vessel vasculitis syndromes include granulomatosis with polyangiitis, Churg-Strauss syndrome, and microscopic polyangiitis. These disorders are commonly referred to as antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitides and prominently affect the pulmonary vasculature. Although significant progress has been made in the management of ...

Background: Administration of influenza vaccines has been associated with the development of autoantibodies and autoimmune rheumatic disease. Patients: We discuss 2 patients who developed antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis (AAV) in temporal association with influenza immunization. AAV was diagnosed 2 and 4 weeks after immunization in these patients. Both patients had rena...
