Nowadays, it is increasingly difficult to find numerous green spaces in a city. This situation caused the conversion of land into built area, resulting lack interaction between humans and nature. One form urban greenery that can be easily created brings many benefits community gardens. Community garden utilizes vacant lots create multi-functional space for people—gardener non-gardener. Literature precedent studies are conducted understand how gardens work as social produces crops base knowledge analyze following study case. focuses on observing realization food security at Malang, Indonesia, named Cemara Hijau Farm.
